Senior Friends of Newnan presents different events and trips for its members throughout the year.

Senior Friends is pleased to announce that we are adding a Spring picnic to our calendar.

This year we will have a picnic on Wednesday, MAY 8 and we will also have a picnic on Wednesday, SEP 11.

Rain or shine we'll be fine!!

Both picnics will be in the covered Pavilion 1 at the Carl Miller Park in Newnan.

We ask attendees to please bring a side dish or dessert.

Senior Friends will also be visiting the Coweta County Prison again this year for lunch and a tour of the facility.

Much to the Board's surprise, this event is popular and has been requested again.

This year we will be visiting on Wednesday, JUL 17.

​

Currently we are in the initial stages of planning some day trips.

Members are asked to please send ideas and suggestions to any Board officer

Our organization also offers overnight bus trips to members, their families, and friends. Come one, come all!!

For 2024, we're offering a 6 night bus trip SEP 22-28 to Niagara Falls and Toronto.

Participants for this trip must bring a valid passport.

We're also offering a 6 night bus trip to San Antonio DEC 1-7.

Both tours are offered via Diamond Tours which caters to a senior clientele.

These trips are open to anyone who would like to join us.

You do not need to join Senior Friends to participate on the bus trips.
