It is with great pleasure that Senior Friends announces plans for a day trip
to the Atlanta History Center followed by lunch at the Swan Coach House.
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED!
ATLANTA HISTORY CENTER (no limit)
The senior group rate (10 or more) for the Atlanta History Center is $15 per person.
The price does not include any tour. You will be on your own once inside.
Senior Friends will purchase the tickets for everyone who signs up and makes payment to Senior Friends.
We'll try to wait until around early August to purchase tickets.
Once tickets are purchased, they will be nonrefundable.

There will be a sign up sheet at our Golden Corral meetings. You can make payment by cash or check and give your payment to Gloria.
The Atlanta History Center is open to anyone who wants to go-members, past members, and friends.
We plan to have a caravan so everyone arrives about the same time.
We'll probably leave Sharpsburg around 8:30AM or so. That has yet to be determined.
Some carpooling may be available.

NOTE: You can NOT show yourself as going to the event as listed on our Facebook page as payment needs to be made to
Senior Friends for us to purchase your ticket for our group.
SWAN COACH HOUSE-LUNCH at 1:00PM (20 max)
Gloria has been able to make reservations for 20 people max (2 tables) at 1:00PM at the Swan Coach House which is within walking distance from the Atlanta History Center. They will not accept individual payments but they will write up individual checks for us.
Senior Friends will pay the total lunch bill with the understanding that each person at our Senior Friends tables will be reimbursing Senior Friends that day for your lunch based on the individual checks given to everyone. Please plan to bring enough money to cover your lunch. You can check the menu online. It is recommended to allow $25 or so per person.
The 2 tables for 20 will be limited to the first 20 people on the sign up sheet for the Atlanta History Center. The list of 20 will be emailed to all members plus the Board will have the list of names that day as we're seated.
All other members and participants who visit the Atlanta History Center are on their own after visiting the Atlanta History Center. They may try to get a table at the Swan Coach House Restaurant on their own or they may have lunch somewhere else.
Just remember if you're carpooling with someone that all of you in the car will need to decide what you're doing for lunch.
We'll clear names on the sign in sheet in the order listed for the Senior Friends tables in the event we have cancellations among the first 20 on the list.
Also, the lunch at the Swan Coach House will be in lieu of our Lunch on the Fly that normally would be held on Tuesday, AUG 27.
